I probably wouldn't define myself as 100% fit but I'm definitely 90%+ and I have shit to do today, so I'm going to go and do it.

I also have that job application to work on - not sure if I'll get much done today but I'll try.

And the sun is shining, which is always a good way to start the day.

One more day of being kind to myself should definitely see me ready for work tomorrow. The fact that the last week has gone so quickly is a sign of just how ill I've been, I think. After spending at least two hours in total last week compiling the notes for my job application (and quite a bit of time just thinking about the job and what it requires), I spent two hours today translating the notes into prose. The feedback from two of the three people I sent my draft job app too has been pretty positive, and I'm also feeling ridiculously excited about the whole exercise.
